Green Bikes are donated/abandoned bicycles which QCBS has repaired, painted uniquely green, and released to the Denton community for free use around town. If you find one, feel free to use it to ride to your destination, but do not lock it up. Green Bikes belong to the whole community and should not be kept inside, sold, or transported outside of Denton.
If you find a Green Bike in need of repair, email info@qcbs.org or bring it to a QCBS public shop day event, such as the sunday afternoon public shop.
GreenBike was recognized by the Denton Record Chronicle and the community at our May 2007 benefit concert and bicycle release.
